Aims
This retreat will offer time for reflection and discernment with an emphasis to deepen one’s own faith journey by
  • drawing inspiration from our Founders
  • sharing experiences and wisdom about the Church’s mission and the unfolding narrative of Kildare Ministries
  • connecting with others in community through prayer and liturgy
  • inviting deeper engagement with the mission of Kildare Ministries through the lens of individual roles

Content
The retreat is a deeply reflective experience.  With less focus on input, participants will be invited to share stories, to spend time in reflection and discernment and to connect with others in the community through prayer, meditation and dialogue.

Participants will be invited to enter into the spirit rather than the detail of our Founding Stories to consider where that spirit leads us today. Participants will also be encouraged to give witness to mission leadership and what that might mean for each personally and in the context of their ministry, understanding that mission is carried by a community of people and a culture committed to the Spirituality of Kildare Ministries.

Feedback
It certainly was an enriching experience for me and I am most grateful for the opportunity to attend such a gathering. The welcome was warm and genuine, the level of care and concern was beautiful and the ability to be open, free and inclusive was greatly appreciated.
