Welcome to Kildare Ministries

"Our footsteps are the road. There is no road, the road is made by walking.
By walking one makes the road, and upon glancing behind one sees the path that never will be trod again."
–Antonio Machado

Kildare Ministries takes its inspiration from the person of Jesus Christ and is committed to ministry grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition, reflecting the love, generosity and justice of the Gospels.  It has a vision with its roots in an ancient tradition yet open to new expressions and structures that arise over time in response to new needs.  The same spirit that led religious institutes to begin new works, to establish new facilities and to launch new ministries, flourishes in the Church today.

Kildare Ministries comprises the educational and community works formerly governed by the NSW Province of the Brigidine Congregation, the Victorian Province of Brigidine Congregation and the Presentation Congregation of Victoria. Kildare Ministries offers secondary school education and community services within an inclusive and socially  just context.  It attempts to nurture a vision of life in which the belief in the dignity of each individual, characterised by personal integrity and compassion, informs thinking and action and enables all to take their rightful place in Church and society.

Our Ministries

Kildare Ministries comprises 10 schools and 3 community works.
